It will be, if it inspires enough people — especially journalists, of all political persuasions — to express outrage at what has been done; and inspires Canada’s free citizens into the necessary political action to put an end to the human rights commissions themselves. Hello there – awesome site. I have created a facebook group to discuss this issue as well – its called Defend Free Speech in Canada – the case of Mark Steyn. It is still very much up in the early stages but I’m trying to get as much members as possible, including people who don’t necessarily read Steyn or even agree with Steyn’s views.
Come check it out – I will post a link to this website which I consider to be an excellent resource.
Well done: and we’ll try and send Facebook junkies your way.

I read “America Alone” and recall Steyn’s citing a number of prominent Islamist hate mongers on the growth of Islam in Europe. The fact that he is now being hounded by a so – called Canadian Human Rights Commission
for citing these statements leads me to the following observation.
In 2000 I had a book on Holocaust denial published in the U.S. that is in some Canadian libraries. That book contains citations from a number of Nazis dealing with anti – Jewish hatred. Should this book be banned and should I be investigated because of these citations? Apparently so under the logic of the CHRC.

Wow, you provincial neo-cons get an inkling of legal advice and you quickly streamline your actionables while disregarding the blatantly obvious similarities between your devious tactics and the interests that hate and comtempt laws seek to protect.
Keep up the good show, next on the agenda: anarchy, disregard for the rule of law and chaos.
Saith Binks– Dear Miss Lapointe/ Levine/ tba. Where is it you get your festive tinfoil hat? And since this humble clueless non-elite civilian blogger has lawyers in the family, and as friends, your attempt to make me thing lesser of them (professionally speaking) is most unfriendly in this Season of Christmas goodwill to all men, peace on earth, type thing.
