(CANADIAN PRESS)– Twice in the same article, yesterday incompetent blogger “Binky” the self-described “WebElf” made factual mistakes about the location of an event, and precisely who it was that made an offer of a free website to the spokespersons in the Human Rights complaint against Mark Steyn and Maclean’s Magazine.
Calgarian Edna McDonald says shespent three hours looking for the event in her home town, but to no avail. “Bloggers have to take responsibility for reporting the facts accurately. Now I’ll never get my Darrell Lund t-shirt autographed! This ‘Binky’ person was wrong– terribly, terribly wrong!”
When reached for comment, “Binky” is quoted as saying “Whuzzat? What-now? Caffeine! Caffeine!! ‘Zounds, Currie and his minions are out to get me! Run!”
The discredited weblogger has since gone missing, and authorities are asking members of the public to call their local RCMP or police departments if they see “Binky” at large, but not to approach the Steyn-worshipper, as “Binky” is considered opinionated and theocratical, and may be dangerous….

Indeed if only all of us were so self-deprecating — including me– the blogosphere would be much improved.
