LONDON – OCTOBER 30: Sir Nicholas Stern gives his report on climate change at The Royal Society on October 30, 2006 in London. In his report Sir Nicholas Stern says that climate change could cost the world’s economies up to GBP3.68 trillion unless drastic action is taken now. The Stern Review forecasts that 1% of global gross domestic product (GDP) must be spent on tackling climate change.
