“Salutations to you, Hungarian freedom, on this the day you are born!”

Ladies and Gentlemen, Compatriots, Hungarians around the World,

With a cockade sewn by Júlia Szendrey pinned to his chest, a volume of poems in his pocket, and the still thrilling experience of the Revolution in his head, these are the words with which the poet Sándor Petőfi welcomed the fifteenth of March in his journal. Salutations to you, Hungarian freedom, on this the day you are born! And today also, one hundred and sixty-eight years later, it is with unfettered joy, the optimism of early spring, high hopes and an elevated spirit that across the Carpathian Basin we celebrate – from Beregszász to Szabadka, from Rimaszombat to Kézdivásárhely: every Hungarian with one heart, one soul and one will.

Just as then in the decisive battles of the Freedom Fight, now also Hungarian hearts are cheered by the fact that we have with us a Polish legion. I welcome the spirited successors of General Bem: we welcome the sons of the Polish nation. As always throughout our shared thousand-year history, now, too, we are standing by you in the battle you are fighting for your country’s freedom and independence. We are with you, and we send this message to Brussels: more respect to the Polish people, more respect to Poland! Greetings to you. It is a sign of the shared fate of Poland and Hungary that another glorious revolution of ours – that of 1956 – was born between the Bem Statue and Kossuth tér in Budapest. It rose up with the unstoppable force of our glorious ancestors, and by the evening it had dragged the Soviet generalissimo out of his boots.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

By nature, Hungarians stand up for what is right when the need arises. What is more, they fight for it if needs be, but do not seek out trouble for its own sake. They know that they can often achieve more through patience than through sabre-rattling. This is why those like us are rarely given to revolutions. We have only gone down that path twice in one hundred and seventy years. When we did follow that path, we had reason to do so: we felt that our lungs would burst if we could not breathe in freedom. We threw ourselves into it, and once we had started a revolution, we did so in style. Modern European history has preserved both Hungarian revolutions among the glorious memories of the world: two blazing stars, two national uprisings bursting forth in 1848 and 1956 from Hungarian aspirations and Hungarian interests. Glory to the heroes, honour to the brave. Chroniclers have also recorded the revolution of 1918–19, but the memories of that period are not preserved on the pages of glory; indeed, not only are those memories written on different pages, but they appear in a different volume altogether. The 1918–19 revolution can be found in the volume devoted to Bolshevik anti-Hungarian subversions launched in the service of foreign interests and foreign ambitions; it features under the heading “appalling examples of intellectual and political degeneracy”. Yes, we Hungarians have two revolutionary traditions: one leads from 1848, through 1956 and the fall of communism, all the way to the Fundamental Law and the current constitutional order; the bloodline of the other tradition leads from Jacobin European ancestors, through 1919, to communism after World War II and the Soviet era in Hungary. Life in Hungary today is a creation of the spiritual heirs and offspring of the ’48 and ’56 revolutions. Today, as then, the heartbeat of this revolutionary tradition moves and guides the nation’s political, economic and spiritual life: equality before the law, responsible government, a national bank, the sharing of burdens, respect for human dignity and the unification of the nation. Today, as then, the ideals of ’48 and ’56 are the pulse driving the life force of the nation, and the intellectual and spiritual blood flow of the Hungarian people. Let us give thanks that this may be so, let us give thanks that finally the Lord of History has led us onto this path. Soli Deo gloria!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Not even the uplifting mood of a celebration day can let us forget that the tradition of 1919, too, is still with us – though fortunately its pulse is just a faint flicker. Yet at times it can make quite a noise. But without a host animal, its days are numbered. It is in need of another delivery of aid from abroad in the form of a major intellectual and political infusion; unless it receives this, then after its leaves and branches have withered, its roots will also dry up in the Hungarian motherland’s soil, which is hostile to internationalism. And this is all well and good.

A decent person who raises their children and works hard to build the course of their life does not usually end up as a revolutionary. The right-thinking person who stands on their own two feet and has control over their future knows that upheavals and the sudden upending of the ordinary course of life rarely ends well. The person of goodwill who seeks a life of serene and peaceful progress knows that trying to take two steps at once leads to you tripping over your own legs, and instead of moving forward, you will land flat on your face. And yet these right-thinking people of goodwill, these upstanding citizens of Pest instantly rallied to the call of our revolutions, marching at the front, right behind the university students. They formed the backbone of the revolutions and freedom fights, and they were to pay with their own blood for the honour of the Hungarian people. Every revolution is like the people who make it. On the committee which oversaw order during the 15 March revolution, in the shadow of the colossal figures of Petőfi and Vasvári, we find the furrier Máté Gyurkovics, and the button-maker György Molnár. Our revolutions were led by respectable citizens, military officers, lawyers, writers, doctors, engineers, honest tradespeople, farmers and workers with a sense of national duty: Hungarians who embodied the nation’s best aspects, our homeland’s very best. Hungarian revolutionaries are not warriors for hare-brained ideologies, deranged utopias or demented, unsolicited plans for world happiness; in Pest you find no traces of the illusory visions of quack philosophers or the raging resentment of failed intellectuals. The revolutionaries of 1848 did not want to salvage stones from the ruins of absolutist oppression in order to build a temple to yet another tyranny; therefore the Hungarian revolution’s songs were not written in honour of the steel blade of the guillotine or the rope of the gallows. Our songs are not sung by lynch mobs or execution-thirsty crowds; the Pest revolution is not a hymn to chaos, revenge, or butchery. The 1848 Revolution is a solemn and dignified moment in our history, when the wounds of the glorious Hungarian nation opened once again. Springing from constitutional roots, it demanded the granting and return of the rights seized from and denied to the nation. It is exhilarating, but sober; ecstatic but practical; glorious, but temperate. It is Hungarian to the core.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Three weeks before his death in battle, in his last letter to János Arany, Sándor Petőfi asked the following question: “So what are you going to do?” When we, his modern descendants, read this, it is as if he is asking us the same question. So what are you going to do? How will you make use of your inheritance? Are the Hungarian people still worthy of their ancestors’ reputation? Do you know the law of the Hungarians of old – that whatever you do should not only be measured by its utility, but also by universal standards? This is because your deeds must pass the test not only here, but also in eternity.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We have our inheritance, the Hungarian people still exist, Buda still stands, we are who we were, and we shall be who we are. Our reputation travels far and wide; clever people and intelligent peoples acknowledge the Hungarians. We adhere to the ancient law, and also measure our deeds by universal standards. We teach our children that their horizon should be eternity. Whether we shall succeed, whether finally we see the building of a homeland which is free, independent, worthy and respected the world over – one which was raised high by our forebears from 1848, and for which they sacrificed their lives – we cannot yet know. We do know, however, that the current European constellation is an unstable one, and so we have some testing times ahead. The times in which we live press us with this question, which is like a hussar’s sabre held to our chest: “Shall we live in slavery or in freedom?” The destiny of the Hungarians has become intertwined with that of Europe’s nations, and has grown to be so much a part of the union that today not a single people – including the Hungarian people – can be free if Europe is not free. And today Europe is as fragile, weak and sickly as a flower being eaten away by a hidden worm. Today, one hundred and sixty-eight years after the great freedom fights of its peoples, Europe – our common home – is not free.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Europe is not free, because freedom begins with speaking the truth. In Europe today it is forbidden to speak the truth. A muzzle is a muzzle – even if it is made of silk. It is forbidden to say that today we are not witnessing the arrival of refugees, but a Europe being threatened by mass migration. It is forbidden to say that tens of millions are ready to set out in our direction. It is forbidden to say that immigration brings crime and terrorism to our countries. It is forbidden to say that the masses of people coming from different civilisations pose a threat to our way of life, our culture, our customs, and our Christian traditions. It is forbidden to say that, instead of integrating, those who arrived here earlier have built a world of their own, with their own laws and ideals, which is forcing apart the thousand-year-old structure of Europe. It is forbidden to say that this is not accidental and not a chain of unintentional consequences, but a planned, orchestrated campaign, a mass of people directed towards us. It is forbidden to say that in Brussels they are constructing schemes to transport foreigners here as quickly as possible and to settle them here among us. It is forbidden to say that the purpose of settling these people here is to redraw the religious and cultural map of Europe and to reconfigure its ethnic foundations, thereby eliminating nation states, which are the last obstacle to the international movement. It is forbidden to say that Brussels is stealthily devouring ever more slices of our national sovereignty, and that in Brussels today many are working on a plan for a United States of Europe, for which no one has ever given authorisation.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today’s enemies of freedom are cut from a different cloth than the royal and imperial rulers of old, or those who ran the Soviet system; they use a different set of tools to force us into submission. Today they do not imprison us, they do not transport us to camps, and they do not send in tanks to occupy countries loyal to freedom. Today the international media’s artillery bombardments, denunciations, threats and blackmail are enough – or rather have been enough so far. The peoples of Europe are slowly awakening, they are regrouping, and will soon regain ground. Europe’s beams laid on the suppression of truth are creaking and cracking. The peoples of Europe may have finally understood that their future is at stake: not only are their prosperity, their comfort and their jobs at stake, but their very security and the peaceful order of their lives are in danger. The peoples of Europe, who have been slumbering in abundance and prosperity, have finally understood that the principles of life upon which we built Europe are in mortal danger. Europe is a community of Christian, free and independent nations; it is the equality of men and women, fair competition and solidarity, pride and humility, justice and mercy.

This danger is not now threatening us as wars and natural disasters do, which take the ground from under our feet in an instant. Mass migration is like a slow and steady current of water which washes away the shore. It appears in the guise of humanitarian action, but its true nature is the occupation of territory; and their gain in territory is our loss of territory. Hordes of implacable human rights warriors feel an unquenchable desire to lecture and accuse us. It is claimed that we are xenophobic and hostile, but the truth is that the history of our nation is also one of inclusion and the intertwining of cultures. Those who have sought to come here as new family members, as allies or as displaced persons fearing for their lives have been let in to make a new home for themselves. But those who have come here with the intention of changing our country and shaping our nation in their own image, those who have come with violence and against our will, have always been met with resistance.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

At first, they are only talking about a few hundred, a thousand or two thousand relocated people. But not a single responsible European leader would dare to swear under oath that this couple of thousand will not eventually increase to tens or hundreds of thousands. If we want to stop this mass migration, we must first of all curb Brussels. The main danger to Europe’s future does not come from those who want to come here, but from Brussels’ fanatics of internationalism. We cannot allow Brussels to place itself above the law. We shall not allow it to force upon us the bitter fruit of its cosmopolitan immigration policy. We shall not import to Hungary crime, terrorism, homophobia and synagogue-burning anti-Semitism. There shall be no urban districts beyond the reach of the law, there shall be no mass disorder or immigrant riots here, and there shall be no gangs hunting down our women and daughters. We shall not allow others to tell us whom we can let into our home and country, whom we will live alongside, and whom we will share our country with. We know how these things go. First we allow them to tell us whom we must take in, then they force us to serve foreigners in our country. In the end we find ourselves being told to pack up and leave our own land. Therefore we reject the forced resettlement scheme, and we shall tolerate neither blackmail, nor threats.

The time has come to ring the warning bell. The time has come for opposition and resistance. The time has come to gather allies to us. The time has come to raise the flag of proud nations. The time has come to prevent the destruction of Europe, and to save the future of Europe. To this end, regardless of party affiliation, we call on every citizen of Hungary to unite, and we call on every European nation to unite. The leaders and citizens of Europe must no longer live in two separate worlds. We must restore the unity of Europe. We the peoples of Europe cannot be free individually if we are not free together. If we unite our forces, we shall succeed; if we pull in different directions, we shall fail. Together we are strength, disunited we are weakness. Either together, or not at all – today this is the law.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In 1848 it was written in the book of fate that nothing could be done against the Habsburg Empire. If then we had resigned ourselves to that outcome, our fate would have been sealed and the German sea would have swallowed up the Hungarians. In 1956 it was written in the book of fate that we were to remain an occupied and sovietised country until patriotism was extinguished in the very last Hungarian. If then we had resigned ourselves to that outcome, our fate would have been sealed, and the Soviet sea would have swallowed up the Hungarians. Today it is written in the book of fate that hidden, faceless world powers will eliminate everything that is unique, autonomous, age-old and national. They will blend cultures, religions and populations, until our many-faceted and proud Europe will finally become bloodless and docile. And if we resign ourselves to this outcome, our fate will be sealed, and we will be swallowed up in the enormous belly of the United States of Europe. The task which awaits the Hungarian people, the nations of Central Europe and the other European nations which have not yet lost all common sense is to defeat, rewrite and transform the fate intended for us. We Hungarians and Poles know how to do this. We have been taught that only if you are brave enough do you look danger in the face. We must therefore drag the ancient virtue of courage out from under the silt of oblivion. First of all we must put steel in our spines, and we must clearly answer the foremost, the single most important question determining our fate with a voice so loud so that it can be heard far and wide. The question upon which the future of Europe stands or falls is this: “Shall we live in slavery or in freedom?” That is the question – give your answer!

~ ABSOLUTELY TRUE FEMINIST doctrine for the right-thinkers teaches that there is a terrible, horrible, really bad Pay Gap between what men and women are paid over a lifetime, and therefore, in every job, and every wage or salary.

No, I’m not claiming that, 2nd & 3rd Wave Feminits are.

30% less total lifetime earnings? Bad! Must be sexism. Do remember to listen & believe what you are told. Questions might be triggering, and sexist.

And H-e-E-ere We Go!

There are four parts to detonating this claim.

(1) Equal Pay is NOT the same as Lifetime Earnings.

A woman not earning the same total amount over her whole working life may well be paid the same as a man in an equivalent position– but most women work fewer hours, take weekends, holidays, sick days, and family days off. Not to mention maternity leave, ‘Flex-Time’, and sick kid days. Women’s career-tracks & lifetime hours worked are not identical to their male peers in the same positions.

(2) Shockingly, not all jobs PAY the same.

Further, men and women tend to choose different careers, many of which have differing pay scales. Men often choose higher-paying jobs, push for promotions, raises, and are more ambitious– even if they don’t actually like the career. Not every job is the same, nor do all jobs require the same amount of education, effort, expertise, and specialization.. or hours.

(3) Most people in the same job are USUALLY paid equally.

Looking past the propaganda, in 2016 some women in starting positions will make more than their starting out male counterparts. Paying women 70% as much as men for identical work is illegal in most Western countries, and– if it were legal– would mean men couldn’t get many jobs, with women as a discount work-force.

But the biggest factor, all other things (and pay) being equal?

(4) Men actually tend to WORK LONGER hours.

One Australian work-study found men worked on average 8.5 hours more than women, per week.* Just a couple of hours a day, and the odd Saturday. Other studies pegged the weekly overtime at about 5.5 hours for men.

So what? Hold onto your hats.. this ‘work longer’ thing is like the exploding value of compound interest. And remember– Binks has Math Dyslexia (on top of a little of the usual kind), so the following is trebly impressive.

By The Numbers

8.5 overtime hours a week. That’s a whopping 10.5 weeks, or 442+ hours of male overtime work per year (or 55.2 x 8 hour overtime workdays/ year).

Such overtime over 10 years? 4420+ hours over a decade (552 x 8 hour overtime workdays/ decade). That’s a crap-ton of overtime– an extra year and a half overtime over a decade (presuming 364 day work-years).

Over a career? The average man will work 17680+ overtime hours, or a full 2210 overtime workdays over 40 years (that’s 6.07 full YEARS— with no weekends or vaycays– of overtime @ 8 hours a day).

The overtime is on top of the 40 hours weekly for 40 years, whatever that is.. lessee.. 2080 regular work-hours/ year, 20800 hours per decade, and 83200 working hours in 40 years.. + the 17680+ overtime = the average man works 100880 total hours (regular + overtime) in a career, versus women working 83200 total hours in a career). Ruh-roh!….

Cheer Up, It Gets Worse!

All of this does not include the hours of unpaid overtime that many modern employers are squeezing out of some employees; nor the hideous job-markets and increase in shrunken work hours ‘part-time’ positions with no benefits, pension, or time off. Oh yes, it’s a paradise out there.

Could be much worse.. as one person has commented:

“Look at Japan and the “salaryman” attitude. At work 7 days a week for well over 12hrs a day, usually back around midnight, maybe half of Sunday to see your kids, 2 weeks holiday a year but if you ever took them you would be fired.”

Japanese Salarymen working over 84 hours a week? Male privilege!

Obviously, even more signs of women being oppressed! Patriarchy!

Free & Simple Answers

What is to be done? The present situation cannot continue! Justice! Equalism!

When it comes to winning equal earnings for men and women, no matter what choices or factors or circumstances, the answers are clear. We must obey the feminist logic that men and women must earn exactly the same in their lifetimes of working (presuming we don’t pay the same wages for a paperboy as a brain surgeon).

First of all, in the name of true equality, all women must be forced to work as many regular and overtime hours as men do, and in identical kinds of jobs. No more family time or maternity-leave with that 8.5 hours of overtime a week on top of the usual 40: whiny sick kids must look after themselves.

Nextly, all women will be required by law to take years and years of extra education & special training for more high pressure & higher paying jobs (plus, be forced to take up more dangerous and physically risky careers, to help equally bear the burden of the 90%+ of workplace fatalities happening to men). There’s simply no choice in the matter, I’m afraid.

All must be sacrificed unto mammon, so true earnings-equality can be attained! Men and women must work the same way in the same fields for the same amount of time and thus earn the same! Minor things like choice, ability, gender, personal interests, or individuality? Not so much. The post-industrial mega-state thanks you for your slavery!

UPitts student Doug Steeber tweeted about Milo’s visit, therefore he’s been unpersonned since Milo’s visit– a vicious campaign of posters, late-night calls to his parents, his FaceBook hacked & replaced, and posters “accusing him of making fun of sexual assault survivors”, and feature contact information for his home. What could possibly go wrong with attacking a guilty thought-criminal?

I’ve written over here about the sacred pillars of SJW/ Progressivism in the West, including the faux factoid that “1 in 4 (or 5) college women have been sexually assaulted”. Rapes galore. Must be true, a study said so.. and since it makes things look totally serious, let’s just keep repeating it as Gospel.

Betcha $20 They’ve Not Read It

The study in question was a squishy soft-science informal survey of students in 2007. Here’s the study itself. From the look of the thing, a real statistician would have a field-day in such a target-rich environment of muddy social science.

The authors even admit an unrepresentative, small, & anonymous survey, lumping together different kinds of assaults, ranging from being grabbed or touched, all the way to full rape; and there are other serious questions about the applicability, and claims made in the study.

“The researchers made clear that the study consisted of students from just two universities…. The CSA study was actually an online survey that took 15 minutes to complete, and the 5,446 undergraduate women who participated were provided a $10 Amazon gift card. Men participated too, but their answers weren’t included in the one-in-five statistic.”

Okily-dokily: 15 minutes. Online. No names. No details, or fact-checking, or comparing apples to apples, or verification that the claims were true, or that the interpretation of the events was fair. Plus, you get an Amazon card?

There’s your infamous 1 in 5– widely derided by Milo Yiannopoulos and other online pundits, in light of a 2013 Department of Justice report that puts the number closer to 6 or 7 in 1000, not 25 in 100. Or again,

“Bureau of Justice Statistics data indicate that in 2012 the rate of rapes and sexual assaults was 1.3 per 1,000 Americans ages 12 and up.”

Clear Away The Smoke

People can be evil. Is modern society rapey? Are colleges rapey?

Well, drunk/ stoned sex, random hooking up, regret-sex, abortion, under-age sex, and the chaos resulting in the collapse of dating rules and role expectations make it clear all is not well. The older dating and relationship and marriage rules were there for a reason, the accumulated wisdom of many generations to try and prevent stupid, fatherless babies, abortions, broken hearts, and exploitation. But we’re so much smart than thems, and you’re not the boss of me!

It’s a great time for broken or evil people, sexual predators, and manipulative women– all within a society of fearful, unsettled divorced kids who don’t know who they are, or what they want, or what is true, except their feelings. The past century has been one of people experimenting on other people by tearing down all the rules and the complementarity between the sexes for political reasons, to polarize society into fragments.

We have a generation of frantic, broken, hurting, hurtful, uncertain, angry kids– and society makes the kids it deserves. Point fingers, and remember to point at all of us, too.

Some of that fragmenting and polarization is now breaking out on our 2016 campuses. And on Mr. Steeber’s young head. And into our present and future.

Still UnAnswered

Fact is, the various real studies peg the number of rapes/ sexual assaults on campus as slightly lower than in general society. However, with the hooking up culture, the drug and booze culture, and the feminist absolution of all women from responsibility for their bad choices, it’s hard to know (a) what the facts actually are, and (2) what is being covered up or hidden by women (and men) for whatever reasons, and (iii) Why such things may be happening, and (d) What to do about said problems.

One thing I know? More polarization, feminist claptrap & shaky stats, screaming & threats & no-platforming is a fever symptom, nor anything like a cure. But some people just want to watch the world burn.

~ TURNS OUT the recent Rutgers cry-bullies were polite as auntie’s tea-time compared to the racist fascist Social Justice Warriors over at Cal State University Los Angeles on Feb. 25 , when conservative speaker Ben Shapiro was scheduled to appear.

Multiple assaults? Crimes against free speech, freedom of assembly, mob-violence & pre-planned riotous behaviour? It’s all good at State & federally funded collijes in 2016 America, where the Grand Racist Obama presides. Just a big adventure game, from the smirks on some of the folks in the video.

And that’s the problem. Wearing superhero pajamas and jumping on your bed when you are four having super-exciting fights against evil is all well and good. There are not a few lost, sad, broken & odd people clustered under the SJW-pity party umbrella. I feel sad for them, for they have lost they know not what, in exchange for easy propaganda and screaming. Still, these are alleged adult alleged university kids.

That old academic idea that you study & ponder and listen first, second, and third, and only then (and very humbly) come up with some thoughts or words or ideas? Lost on them. Modern undiversity rewards insta-blab, BrainingLite, endless outrage and offendedness, and “Talk First (and loudly), Brain Later (if ever), cuz actual thought is a tool of the oppressors! This often devolves into #@%!$&*! and schoolyard-style name-calling, now with added threats and shoving, before you know it.

See, if I thought Milo was evil incarnate, I’d read up & learn up on his arguments and articles, write down some questions, criticism, and serious problems I saw, and go at it during the question & answer, on a blog, in e-mails, or in discussion. Not as fun, but much more effective, IF your goal is to actually learn, practice critical thinking, and (just imagine) actually convince Milo on a point or two to change his mind, or elaborate and correct his ideas.

Is This True (or False)? (this takes reason, and patience)

Then, another big question: How Do I Know This Is True (or False)? (This takes research)

And if you’ve gotten that far, then:

What is Right And Wrong (Or Uncertain) About This idea/ argument/ position? (This takes the ability to objectively think outside a position– or on both sides– so you can coolly figure the good & bad of a particular argument, claim, or asserted truth).

The good news here?– if you can properly do this last step, you’re 5 times further ahead than someone who only understands (or misunderstand) one side of the argument.

Truth.. Just Is, Man

It’s a sad mess: and Rutgers is only one of many such semi-insane schools throughout North America, which have forbidden the search for truth.

Truth does not depend on a majority or minority vote; it has no colour, race, political stance, or creed; it does not have a best-before-date; professors or teachers or writers may or may not be actually interested in it; radical mass movements tend to discourage thought, introspection, seeking truth, or being fair to the opposition.

A few warnings on truthing gooder:

• Repeating something often enough does not automatically make it true, or untrue.
• Because a book or prof or politician said something does not magically make it true, or untrue.
• Truth is true, whether you like it or not.
• The popularity of an idea does not somehow make it true, or untrue.
• Real learning is very hard work.
• Your grasp of the truth is necessarily imperfect. Be humble, but defend what truth you know & have, until you learn otherwise.
• The pooling of ignorance in search of truth does not guarantee you or your committee will ever find any.
• Ignorance– especially deliberate bad learning, or dumbing yourself because ideology– can lead to mindless and unpleasant behaviour.
• The truth is often risky, unpopular with the cool kids, hard to live with, and you bear responsibility for what you know, and for passing it on.
• To know that you know nothing, or very little, is the beginning of learning, as Socrates taught.

I hope these collij kids– like the one in the vid above– one day wake up and realize who they are, what they’ve become, and how very very little they really know or understand. I hope.

Often, they are worth listening to: Sargon of Akkad, ThunderFoot, Karen Straughan, the Honey Badger Brigade, just to name a few from my subscription lists..

Strange bedfellows: except, if I happen to comment, some such will ignore me, others will cheerfully turn around and lob grenades at Binks, because Evil Religious Lunatic Christers are even worser than Progs and feminits, dontcha know. “Oh yeah? WHAT ABOUT CRUSADES, INQUISITION, BIBLE SLAVERY, WITCH-BURNING?!?! Plus, No God, because science says!!”

Uh-huh. What now.. do I just  surrender, now you’ve spoken the forbidden factoids? You caught us? the jig is up? mighty mighty atheist neckbeards win all the things?

Even more exciting is when some web-infidel goes on the attack with “You know what those Christians are all like!….” (you’ve met ALL of us, have you?), then spew caricatures, misinformation, and unrecognizable whatnot– to an actual Christian, telling them what & how they think & act and live. Anyhow, one sometimes interesting but unpleasant character– “The Amazing Atheist” (AA) does have a few interesting things to say. In one video he took on Cracked.com for being idiotic and social-justice-y (Cracked IS SJW Crap). Cracked.com has also taken a crack at popular modern atheism, and people like AA himself.

Still and all, modern atheism/ agnosticism is an important social fact, and should be addressed with moderate, funny, factual responses– not screaming or Bible Quotes– even if you’re unlikely to get a fair hearing. Even if much of modern atheism messes the facts, the idea of God, and the progress, history, & nature of science itself.

So: here’s what I wrote to Cracked.com, and copied to That Amazing Atheist, because I believe it to be true, and the beginning of a real answer to modern doubt:

AA has a nasty shtick. Some people like nasty.

Me, I think only faith or agnosticism is possible, for the simple reason that in order to *know* there is no God, you’d have to know all the things, everywhere, in all possible dimensions or universes– which is omniscience (or all-knowingness), which is one of the divine attributes, also commonly seen in teens everywhere, and internet commenters.

Further, the idea that you should apply Science(tm) to spiritual questions is itself suspect, because (a) Science is a metaphysical/ philosophical position leading to investigation (it is not the result of experiments), and (2) in no other area of life to we misapply “scientific” categories of evidence to decide what is or is not true, good, or the like. Food? Love? The arts? Literature? Romance? How to live? Beauty? Courage? How to die? Truth vs. lying? Friendship? Poetry? Architecture? Careers?.. i.e., pretty much everything ever that matters in being a human.

Don’t get me wrong– I’m not a creationist or anti-intellectual. But modern atheism lazily and smugly claims to have all the toys and all the truth, and I really think that’s not the case.

Not sure if I expressed that really well, but I think my point is sound. Only agnosticism ( I don’t know if there’s a God) is possible. Atheism (We know all the things, and there is no God, ever anywhere) is just too crazy-big and impossible a claim for a finite mortal (i.e., an ordinary limited person) to make.

~ THERE NEVER was a Time Of Pure Journalism, and as the 21st century schemes along, it’s clear there never will be.

Kangaroo courts.. show-trials.. judgement by media.. activist judges ruling us directly.. government versus groups and individuals… everything is the government’s business.. all is ideology… a silencing of dissent or honest disagreement. The new unCanada cometh.

Thus, Trudeau 2.0 is very very far from harmless. The progressives are crusaders minus a cross or a Christ: without hope of heaven, they must make heaven on earth now, no matter the cost, the waste, or the sacrificial crushing of the lives & hopes of the little people, and especially their enemies. There are now going to be two classes of Canadian: the loyal ones, and the traitorous unbelievers. Watch for it.

I, for one, along with many millions of Canadians, and all the crew of rebel scum over at Rebel Media, am proud to stand against the goody-filled tide of soft smiley-faced fascism which is sweeping the West, and now seriously engulfing Canada under the new regime of the smug doofus son of a devilish Communist wrecker.

As always, I am proud to stand with those who love liberty under law, embracing neither anarchy or slavery, even if we face a long defeat in the current phase of the slow suicidal death of the West. Or as Sir William Wallace learned it from his uncle in a different time of conflict and oppression:

We Won’t Have Any Nice Things

~ OK, SO MY political tribe lost the national election. Grrr. Monkey-hoot. Sour grapes. Wah.

But– Justin. Justin?! Such “Anybody But Harper-Dad!” politics will not end well. And for the record, I have never had any political use or patience for Mr. Trudeau Jr., election or no.

Justin is not old soft-Commie Pierre, his Dad; nor is he Barack (or, is Barack times 10); these are not the post-war decades of growth and decent birth-rates and large government tax-surpluses. And Justin is no messiah, however much the scary ‘glorious leader’ theme seems first in so many voters’ minds, in spite of his utter lack of skills, experience, and political mojo. Canada stands poised to start a crazy flaming roller-coaster ride run by an insane clown.

All you folks who voted for the crown prince will– secretly, as Ezra Levant says— start to miss Harper (as you puff your legal and government-taxed weed), just like Ontario voters under the Liberals miss business, jobs, balanced budgets, accountability, and the money which used to be in their wallets & purses. Or, like Alberta voters are starting to miss the oil boom, low tax, business-friendly high-employment engine that used to be the Albertan economy before the Orange people recently took over the government and drove things ditch-wards.

Winners & Losers

Progressive or angry voters won. Stoners won. The mostly leftward bureaucracy party won. The media party won. The Chretienite cronies, crooks, and bagmen won. The global caliphate won. The progressive globalists/ world trade/ world government folks won. The gun-banners and speech-controllers won. The taxman won. Spin-doctors, liars, and empty appearances over reality & truth won. “Change” won.

The losers? Canadian businesses lose. The oil industry loses. The shrinking sector of the economy represented by taxpayers will lose and lose and lose. The middle-class and families with children will lose. Free speech– online and in public– loses (watch for it). Canadian sovereignty loses. Actual religious people (especially serious Christians) lose. The dignity of difference and political & ideological diversity loses.  Our children & grandchildren lose. Unborn Canadians lose. Non-government/ police civilian gun-owners lose.  Canada loses, as a newly active Trudeaupia crawls from the grave, and staggers back to Ottawa. This is a day to mourn.

And all you “Mean Old Harper” critics? Anybody who dares disagree with the new Prime Minister-designate loses (he’s demonstrated this repeatedly as opposition leader). Like President Obama, I confidently predict Justin will have a very hard time being the leader of ALL Canadians, including the loyal opposition, social conservatives, and people who don’t get ‘onside’ with his doings. Justin is correct, after all– you could only disagree if you were ignorant, or if you are malicious (or maliciously ignorant).

And do you actually believe Justin will roll back C-51, or push back against the global surveillance regime, or the sweet temptations of imposing a polite police state? Pass me the bong, man.

Even more & faster than under Harper, Canada will quickly realign itself against Israel, and toward the United Nations; towards secret and overarching international sovereignty-copyright-internet-trade agreements not to be voted on by our Parliament or Legislatures (like the TPP-TPIP); towards American & European bankers and their dictates; towards the demands of Global Islamic Supremacists that all submit in law & practice to dictates curbing freedom of speech, religion, media, and the like. With America in financial geopolitical and political free-fall, I suspect Prince Justin follow a dual-track in cuddling up to Obama, and yet will be happy to pander more and more to the rising powers, China and Russia, including a blind eye to Communist Chinese spies and influence in Canada, as Prime Minister Chretien had in years past.

Check The Record

Attentive people can learn from the actual record of Justin’s father (read this book), and the administrations of Bush 2 and Barack Obama just how fast nations can surrender their freedoms and privacy in seeking “peace and security”; and just how fast determined radicals can derail, mutate, and tear apart a nation’s political inheritance, economy, and identity. Canada is not a nation apart, some special case. For all his many faults, Harper held the castle walls against the insanity that is engulfing the world. Justin will embrace that insanity, and represent it as positive change. Meanwhile, the wreckers can and will try to wreck us as seems good to them, remaking us and our institutions in their image, just as they did under Trudeau 1.0.

This is not 1968, and Justin Trudeau, his advisors and minions and puppetmasters, will very quickly show the kind of Canada they want, and– this time– seek to make it stick once and for all. This will be done in the now-usual way, with fine-sounding words, some good intentions, a cluelessness about how money actually works, rising debt, but with lots of pelvic activity & “free” goodies for everyone.. as long as you pay your taxes, and love glorious leader. Plus carbon taxes.

O Canada! This is nice Canada, smug Canada, clueless Canada: our fascism will come softly, all friendly-like, creeping like a mist or a chill over us and over everything, until suddenly it’s all different. Smile, Canadians, and bite your tongues: or else you may be thought not sufficiently enthusiastic about your new masters, and that just wouldn’t do at all, would it? ~
