THE IDIOTIC idea that all must believe all reports of racist, sexist, homophobic, or other alleged attacks is a popular idiotic idea: all must “Listen And Believe!“
Why? Because like empty social media ‘celebrity’, potentially valuable victimhood can win you all the goodies, sympathy, attention, weepy protesters, and minions listening to you and believing you. Except, there’s a lot of attention-seeking liars out there, constantly crying wolf, and inventing hate-crimes for the media and permanently aggrieved to feeding-frenzy all over.
Some Basics….
(1) Prove it. Evidence. Law. Witnesses. Investigation. The Feminist dirty-word ‘Facts’. Believe nothing legal until it is legally certain, however likely the guilt may be, or how unlikeable the alleged perp happens to be. Because digital lynch mobs can still ruin innocent lives, reputations, and put men in jail for years and years.
(2) Supposed perps? The law says: “Innocent until proven guilty”, not guilty until proven guilty, because someone belongs to some “guilty” group (men, males, heterosexuals, Christians, white men and women, non-poor people, conservatives, anyone who dares disagree with Victim Glorifying, and SJWism).
(3) That SJWs can’t and won’t police their own folks from alleging all sorts of death-threats, bomb-threats, and over-inflating online criticism into unbearable ‘hatred and harassment’ ( COUGHZoe, AnitaCOUGH )? Fact-lite, and useful fear-mongering heavy.

YouTuber 6oodfella has a great (if Scots & salty) video up on the whole matter, plus a heap of intertube links to false reports over the past few years. He tells it like it is, IMHO.
The irony? Crying wolf doesn’t mean there aren’t wolves, and that some people aren’t attacked for various reasons– it does mean that innocent victims might not be believed, and wolves may well get away with attacks. That would be precisely because of all the phony, self-seeking, and ‘consciousness-raising’ fakery, useful lies, and propagandistic noise from SJWs, feminists, militant homosexuals, disturbed individuals, and members of other privileged ‘victim’ groups.

Except… not? The Indian Hindus may have been doing this for many many thousands of years, before modern Jamaica & Rastafarians ever were.
Elsewhere, dreadlocks are everywhere in paganism, ancient artistic examples, and in not a few cultures: the Neolithic, Egyptian, Greek, Aztec, Biblical Hebrew, ancient India, South Pacific Islanders, Ethiopian (hence the Ethiopian Emperor, Ras Tafari, a.k.a. Haile Selassie I, 1930-1974, after whom the Rastas named themselves), Dervish (Sufi) Islam, ancient Celts and their druids (Shakespeare’s ‘Elflocks’).
Modernly speaking, dreadlocks are popular with Rastafarianism (which “… draws its belief from three main sources; the Hebrew Old Testament, African tribal culture, and Hindu tribal culture“), a.k.a. Rasta dreads = flagrant “Cultural Appropriation!!, hippies, vegans, stoners, surfers, goths, cyber goths, and fans of the Grateful Dead.

This ragingly racist and soft-fascist black woman (SFSU student Bonnie “Bonita” Tindle) seems informed or interested in history, art, culture, cultural appreciation, freedom of expression, or anything else. The feminist-entitled she-bigot (and her smirking sidekick) definitely were interested in harassing, judging, and technically assaulting Dude– down two flights of stairs, then with repeated grabbing and blocking his attempted escapes– all because he was a white (evil) man (evil) wearing dreads (evil), and because of what she (in her utter ignorance) only associates with modern black people.
Because Whoopee Goldberg. And, you know, cuz Google is, like WAY hard, and hard facts are sexist and just feel wrong.
Also, because the ‘aspiring filmmaker’ thought she was self-righteously correct versus a guilty offender, and probably could get away with it. Why? Dunno– maybe she thought nobody else was around (or recording things), except her friend as witness to the events.

OK, so– imagine, if you will, the viral headline “White Racist Man Assaults Black Woman Because Of Her Appearance“. He’d be expelled so fast he’d hit light speed on the way out the door.
Then, EVERY news outlet, all the lefty-rad talking head shows, SJW websites, Black Lives Matter blogs, regressive Left YouTube channels, feminist forae, and the mainscream mass media would go completely and utterly rabid and full megaphone over this: judge, jury, and executioners all. One male life ruined? Worth it.
…Or, until proven guilty. It may take some time.
The actual events, as recorded on video?– why, it just doesn’t fit the pre-boiled narrative, wherein only rapey & racist white mens have teh cooties.. well, this– can’t even?.. uh.. but, how.. DOESN’T COMPUTE. IGNORE. REDIRECT.
One lame apologia article, tries to paint the victim (Dreads Dude) as the actual perpetrator, also mentions that the unfairly misunderstood Mz. Tindle may have grown up partly in foster-care. OK, that’s often unpleasant, but lots of other people have rotten kid-lives, and possible past suffering is still a crap excuse for mistreating other people, years later.
In fact, my difficult youth years mostly taught me to be kind, patient, and sympathetic, since you can never tell just what people are going through, plus, don’t bully or stomp people just for kicks. Leave things better than you found them.

The expression when smirk-bully Mz. Bonita realized she was being recorded (and knew it would probably end up on YouTube?), and was totally busted as a racist, soft-fascist jerk? Just look. Dun dun DUUUUUNNN!
Finally, I hope this young woman repents, apologizes, makes good, and learns a lasting life-lesson about jumping to conclusions based on ignorance, and about assaulting people on the basis of bigotry and reverse-racism. This nasty road in U.S. culture wars leads to no good place. ~
